Meet our leaders and staff

The church leadership is made up of two groups that work together as one team. The church membership has elected 4 elders to lead the church spiritually. The church membership has also elected 2 deacons who serve the elders and the church. This leadership structure is based on that of the Early Church (1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:5-9). It is our aim is to be biblical in all that we do as we follow the Chief Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ
(1 Peter 5:4).

The Elders

Gwydion Emlyn

Pastor Gwydion is married to Libby and became our Pastor on St. David’s Day – March 1st, 2017. He is a first-language Welsh speaker and is originally from Drefach in the Gwendraeth Valley, but moved to Llanelli at the age of ten. He was Assistant to the Pastor at St. Mellons Baptist Church, Cardiff for two and a half years before becoming the pastor here. His work is to preach the Bible, shepherd God’s people, pray for the Church, disciple the saints and share the Gospel of Christ with the communities around us.
